As the blessed month of Ramadan begins, we at Coloring Palestine are honored to partner with The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) to support children in Gaza through their powerful From Gaza أطفال الزيتون campaign. Founded in 2015 by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, The Big Heart Foundation works tirelessly to support refugees, displaced people, and vulnerable communities worldwide.
Their From Gaza أطفال الزيتون campaign focuses on children in Gaza who have lost limbs. This is a zakat-eligible program, so your contributions can count toward your zakat this Ramadan. But these children are not defined by what they have lost. They are defined by what they dream, what they build, and who they become. They are heroes.
